Make to disguise ageing tired eyes

I’m a bridesmaid next weekend and will be doing my own make up. After having twins recently I’m finding all the tiredness seems to show in my eyes. The bags are huge and I don’t think the crows feet could be any more prominent.

Realistically Botox and a good nights sleep are my only real solutions but given neither of them are going to happen this week I’m looking for some make up tips to help.

I have the Giorgio Armani foundation but is there something else you’d recommend I use under the foundation to disguise the bags and the crows feet? Any recommendations on eye patches/ masks I could use over the week to help?

YSL Touché Eclat or Nars creamy concealer

Thanks all, I’ve looked at your suggestions and really like the sound of the Trish McEvoy product. @Taoneusa don’t suppose you know where to buy it? Selfridges don’t have the shade 1 and Amazon you have to pay over £7 in delivery

Also even if I paid the delivery on Amazon it won’t arrive quick enough.

You need one of those tightening balms, years ago it was called my Eyecential, or something like that. It was advertised on QVC, I had some and it was brilliant.
There's one on Amazon called My Perfect Eye.
Or haemorrhoid cream, also helps bags, allegedly!

I would try tapping around the area too, for the puffiness, maybe the ordinary Caffeine serum longer term and a cold gel mask every evening.

An eye exercise that will help where you lift your lower eye area as though squinting five times, on the fifth count lift higher, til the eye almost closed hold for 15 seconds.

Do that morning and evening every day this week.

Have a lovely time!

And drink lots and lots of water this week!

The Body Shop used to do a good gel eye mask. Like a sleep mask, you put it in the fridge overnight, put it on for 10 minutes on the morning of the wedding and it really takes the bags down.

I've got the Trish McEvoy op, I bought it in Liberty but I'm not convinced it's better than Bobbi Brown Corrector with Clarins Concealer.
I have a massive collection of concealers but not yet found my HG

Homerenonovice · 27/10/2021 11:08

Sorry, I never got a notification about all the new responses.

@RiverSkater I do use the ordinary caffeine serum for the bags and it does help a little but they are still really noticeable. I also use their product which was known as Botox in a bottle for the crows feet. Can’t remember the name of it at the moment and I’m not at home to check. Again, does help a bit but not enough unfortunately. I’m that desperate I might give the haemorrhoid cream a try, if no luck I’ll try the my perfect eye cream. Thank you!

@crosshatching thanks I’ve bought a cooling gel eye mask which I’ll pop in the fridge and use on the morning of the wedding.

Maybelline Instant Anti-Ageing Eraser Eye Concealer.

It's a gamechanger

DukeofEarlGrey · 28/10/2021 00:27

I don’t have bags but very dark under eye circles and I love Becca undereye brightened, it’s amazing stuff. I use a concealer over the top as we.
