Help me find a dress!

I'm size 16, hourglass shape although tending slightly toward pear as I've gained some weight that's sitting on my hips and bum.

In one week, I've a wedding to go to. Smart casual, not formal. My sisters are very slim women who seem to revel in looking better than me, their dresses are quite heavily detailed and "fussy".

I want to look different, I want to look beautiful but not like the fat version of them. I don't want to feel pitied or like the ugly sister for once

Prefer long or 3/4 sleeves sleeves, hate peplum, have a fairly large bust so high necklines can be a bit dodgy. I've got a pair of black high heeled boots- Victorian/gothic sort of vibe. The wedding is on Halloween and has been a central theme, but I don't want to look as if I'm in costume. I need something to go with them, but not too dressy, but that might make my husband be like, "wow!"

I may be asking the impossible, but if there are any geniuses here...... please help me. For under £50 if possible!

I had a dress, but it's turned up and I hate it. It looked like a charcoal grey wrap dress with a very subtle sparkly thread running through online, but it's black and covered in silver glitter

Lady vintage website. Ive got a very similar figure to what you are describing and these dresses really suit me. They dont all have sleeves but a bolero cardi over the top will sort that out if you want your arms covered.

I’m probably a size 15 hourglass at the moment and have just ordered the attached from ASOS for a winter wedding.

The green one is a keeper, looks really flattering and bonus that I fit into the 14. The other one is gorgeous too for an hourglass but I prefer the length of the green one.

Plus it’s probably more fitting with your theme too!

I’ve recommended this on another thread & im not sure if it’s quite what your after but I’m a size 14 with a mum tum and this makes me feel amazing. I wear cheap sucker inner type knickers. Delivery took about 3 days.
