Waxing

I've just had my third bikini wax today.
Should I expect every single hair to be removed in the areas being waxed?

Yes unless very short. Maybe 4-6 random individuals might need plumbing but other than that you should be bald

WreckTangled · 24/10/2021 18:06

Agreed. They usually get the strays with some tweezers.

FizzBumblebee · 27/10/2021 14:08

I thought as much
It was 6 weeks of growth and definitely needed doing so not too short

Do your beauticians have set ups with a bed they can get around both side of it? Or do they just work from one side?

Mine has a bed she can walk round, and goes over everywhere with tweezers to make sure I'm totally smooth. I can't imagine how they'd get every hair if they can't walk round?

StarlightLady · 27/10/2021 15:00

Certainly walk all round. Plus I’ve invented yoga positions that nobody knew existed. But you should be hair free afterwards.

I'm just wondering how often stylish mummy gets the plumber round

Why? The above replies were pretty unanimous.
FizzBumblebee · 31/10/2021 07:19

Because it is nice to get more than a couple of peoples views and experiences

Is there a reason you're being so indirect about your question and dropping hints that you're unhappy without explaining why?

Do you mean: Every hair was removed and I wasn't expecting that. Or: I was expecting every hair to be removed but there are some left?

If the latter, was it bikini line or Hollywood/other? Hollywood I would expect everything off. Bikini line would be tidying the edges and I wouldn't expect any strays to be left.

The salon where I go, they work from one side and I have never had any issues, it's been everything off. If you're unhappy then why does it matter if they can walk round the bed or not!

Hello OP since July you have posted about pubic hair only. Why is this? Genuine q.

Genuinely first time of having any waxing done. I don't really have any close friends to talk to about this kind of thing. Was just hoping to get some views from others to help me know what is normal etc Blush

I got salon waxing done regularly for 20 years. In all that time I would estimate that I was happy with the results about 20% of the time! It’s often rushed and patchy. Had a few awful experiences. If you weren’t happy but liked waxing in general then I’d suggest shopping around until you find someone who does it to your expectations.

Could be a dodgy fella with a pubes/waxing fetish?
FizzBumblebee · 01/11/2021 17:53

Poster above ^
I'm definitely not a dodgy fella!!

I don't know about extra hairs but by Christ I bruised, it was my first time too 🤣😂

FoggySpecs · 01/11/2021 19:16

You should be hair free but I frequently find they miss a few but I am blonde which apparently makes it harder Hmm
