Jeans to wear with boots

I'm pear shaped. I need jeans that go with winter boots. Or are boots and jeans a no-no currently? Really struggling to style it. Mom jeans just don't go with boots. Or do they? Help!

They don’t. The only jeans I wear with boots are skinnies tucked in or straight leg rolled up with hiking boot style boots.
I can’t bear naked ankles and think showing socks looks ridiculous

Depends on the cut if the jeans (mum jeans too non specific) and the style of the boots. But a cropped or rolled straight leg over a DM style boot is a great look.
