Hi, I used to love wearing perfume but haven't done so for years due to funny sense of smell during pregnancy followed by terribly sensitive skin. I'd really like to start again.

I used to love Jo Malone Orange Blossom and White Jasmine and Mint (wore them separately and together) but they seem to have stopped doing the white jasmine one - I can't see it on their website.

Anyone got any suggestions of anything else I might like if I like these? (I used to like the way the Jo Malone perfumes seemed to smell less sort of synthetic than some other perfumes.)

Would be very grateful for any ideas, thank you!

Perfume Parlour has dupes of both of the JM ones you like. I haven't tried them personally but their dupes are usually very good Smile

I think our taste in perfume is probably very similar.
I love orange blossom and would fully recommend the Penhaligons one (I think it’s nicer than the Jo Malone). The Penhaligon’s ‘Savoy Steam’ if one of the few perfumes I’ve been able to tolerate during pregnancy and smells like the fanciest spa in the world.

I’d also really recommend Atelier Cologne perfumes if you like citrusy, fresh scents with soft herbal/floral notes (I think there’s one called something like ‘lemon island’ which is gorgeous and there’s another unisex one with spearmint which Iike).

This is light and smells gorgeous. www.johnlewis.com/liz-earle-botanical-essence-no-1-50ml/p69900

I don’t know if they’re still available online, but in the summer Jo Malone did a collaboration with Zara and produced four fragrances. The waterlily tea dress perfume was lovely, but I believe that Jo’s personal favourite was the bluebell one. They did a sample multipack at one point. May be worth a try.
The other thing you might like is Roger & Gallet or Fragonard fragrances - sometimes available in Marks and Spencer’s.

Seconding Atelier Cologne. Pacific Lime is lovely, and not particularly limey.

Jenny Glow does Jo Malone dupes. They’re spot on and cheap as chips.

Thanks so much, very helpful. Will investigate your suggestions.

HerbivorousRex and DameCelia, where do you buy Atelier Cologne fragrances from? Do you use their own website? Do they ship to the UK?
