Black tie - dress hire

I have a black tie event and need to hire a dress but I'm a bit lost! Please give me some ideas wise mumsnetters! I'm size 8 and would spend up to £200 on hiring something.

Why do you need to hire? There are lots of stunning dresses for less than that especially in your size.

I guess I don't have to - I just don't go to many black tie things so thought it made sense to hire.
Any ideas for where I could start looking?
