replacement for diorskin nude foundation (liquid foundation)

Can anyone help? They discontinued the only foundation I have ever loved a few years ago. I bought up all I could find on eBay etc, but it is coming to an end.

Could anyone recommend a replacement? It is so light yet covers nicely without looking cloggy or heavy. It also comes in the exact (01, Ivory) shade I like, with no trace of orange or yellow (I have sallow skin, but very pale in the winter).

I think I used to use this. Anyway, I now use the Dior Backstage foundation which is also very light textured and natural looking on my skin. Boots sell it.

Thanks, I will definitely have a look at that.

My friend has the same effect with Chanel Les Beiges Sheer Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturizer. It looks very beautiful on her, like she’s not wearing anything at all but still makes her skin look even. I haven’t tried it yet but it’s on my list once I run out of my current foundation.

Dior backstage is beautiful! Both my adult daughters and myself wear it, you should be able to get the same shade too as I think they use the same shades throughout their foundations?
The backstage primer is also really lovely.

I have ordered the Backstage now. The shades are in fact a bit different in that there are more choices than I had before. The old one just had 01, 02, 03 etc. This one has 0N (neutral), 0C (cool), 0CR (cool rosy) and so on for all the colours. I am trying 0N, which looks on the screen at least to be closest to my old 01.

Thanks also for the tip about the Chanel, I may try that too.

Clarins tinted moisturiser is also very light and gives a good coverage. They'll send you samples so you can find the right shade.

Thanks! I hate it when things are discontinued! This happened with "my lipstick" about 10 years ago now, I bought up what appeared to be the whole world's remaining supply (some at stupid cost) and I still have enough to hopefully last me the rest of my life! (Especially as I now mainly WFH and on the screen I wear a different one as it doesn't matter as much!).

Hi - did you ever try the Backstage? I had a stash of nude air and only finding out now that it's discontinued. Hoping I can learn what works for you now!

I did try the Backstage but found it a bit too thick/heavy coverage for my liking.

I am now using Forever (both the liquid foundation and the Natural Velvet pressed powder, and it works for me. (In 0CR shade). I sorted it out by actually going to the Dior counter in Selfridges in London and getting the assistant to try various ones on me.
