White dress needed for an event !

I have an daytime event that I need a white dress for. I live in Aus so it's our summer and will be hot. I'd also like to wear it to other things around the festive season.

Also this one, but a bit more casual!

2 or 4. The others are way too frilly. Wind comes up and you will have the flappy bits dipping in your drink.

I love 4, followed by 2. 1 and 3 aren't to my taste personally. Any other requirements other than white? What kind of activity?

I'm going to the ashes, I always buy a new white dress - It's become a tradition!
Also will wear it to my work Christmas party which is on a yacht.
