plain cotton t-shirts for kids

I have a 10 year old DD who has very particular likes and dislikes around both style and comfort in her clothes, and needs some new tshirts. What she would like is soft, 100% cotton with a fairly loose neckline t-shirt that comes in a variety of colours - the sort of thing I imagine an adult would buy from Rapanui or Hush... are there any recommendations of similar things for children?

I got fruit of the loom T Shirts from Amazon for my DD, they make them in loads of different colours

H&M does lots of 100% cotton t shirts

However I don’t know if you were after something even softer? Boden does pointelle cotton t shirts that are very soft, they are a bit pricey but do wash and last well and there’s always codes going round.

Next and John Lewis also good for plain coloured cotton Ts

granhands1 thanks, we found these, but her school PE tshirt is Fruit of the Loom, so fails the comfort test! Shame as they are really cheap and lots of colours!

Will look at hte other ideas, thanks.

We got my son plain ones from Fatface - might be worth checking the boys section if nothing in the girls. John Lewis do really love soft T-shirt’s too

I have a similar child. I've found H&M vgood. Their 95% organic cotton T-shirts are lovely and soft

I got a great selection of plain different coloured T-shirts from H&M for DS. DD prefers hers to be less plain so I haven't checked out the girls section.

Same. But for my son. They are okay for anyone, really.

I love Abercrombie kids t-shirts. So soft and good quality.

Do Next still do the plain multipacks? They are soft and work out cheap

MamsellMarie · 23/10/2021 19:03

I bought some from here and felt they were good quality and very good value but don't have a big range of sizes.

Good to hear they were good quality as we ordered a bunch from here in different colours, but the order was cancelled due to quality issues with that batch... Might go back and try again as nothing else suits DD - eg multi pack from H&M of 5 she doesn't like 2 of the colours etc. This is a child who has been wearing the same t shirt for the last 3 years...

Dd has asd and many clothing rules she has some comfy round necks from asda but her favourite are next (boys section as she doesn't like what she calls girly colours). I find the boys section less fitted, more likely to have more choice of slogan less tshirts with no lace or other added bits. Also got a pack of 5 long sleeve round neck tshirts from sainsburys last year that were nice. On the whole recently next seems to have had clothes that have passed the feel test from dd.
