Hair breaking off

I’ve had my hair highlighted blonde for years (naturally very dark). It definitely suits my skin tone- I look very washed out with dark hair.

Over the last few months my hair has started to break off about half way down (I have shoulder length hair) so around my face I have random frizzy bits of varying length.

How do I fix this? Is Opalex worth a try? Any other deep conditioning treatments worth using? Do I need to accept that I need to use less bleach on my hair and go darker?

I use straighteners too which I know won’t help but I hate the frizz around my face.

I only wash my hair once or twice a week as it’s a bit dry so it doesn’t have much hair drier on it. I straighten it maybe every other day.

Thanks in advance!
