Laura geller foundation

I'm almost 50 and while I have no wrinkles as such yet my skin has changed in the last few years and I struggle
To find a foundation that's natural , not cakey but with good coverage .

Laura geller has been recommended to me - wondered if anyone had any opinions before I buy .

I have used laura geller for years I alternate between balance n brighten and balance and glow, however I do use it over foundation. I use the ordinary serum foundation, one pump does my whole face I use a flat oval brush, buff it in really well then do over with the LG.

I like the balance n brighten, natural looking and easy to use

Oh and look at Qvc, you can try and return if you don't like it.

The balance and brighten powder?

It wasn't for me, sat in and emphasised dryness, rubbish coverage, no glow, too orange for my pale skin tone, though I think they do a lighter shade these days.

I expect my skin is just too dry for it as I know other people often rave about it. I used it as a t zone powder for a bit and then binned it.

I'd recommend something like bare minerals complexion rescue.

It just goes to show we are all different I'm 55 and have been using it for about 6 years, I try other things but always come back to it.

I prefer that balance and glow as I found the balance and brighten to grainy feeling. I have it in light. I got the fair balance and brighten once - for some reason there was a lot of 'red' in it. Just what I didn't need!

Oh bugger I got the fair - if it's red I'm screwed ! I need my pink tones toning down not accentuating.

No you may be ok. I may have got a bad one. I ordered it by mistake. It would prob have been too pinky. The light has more yellow in it I think, well It suits me anyway.

I use balance and brighten over a cc or bb cream, it gives a little more coverage then the cc cream alone and lasts all day on my combination skin.

Well that is a nice bundle! I like her lipsticks and the blushers and highlighters are lovely (though do not wear at the mo' because I wear a mask.) I also had a lovely eyeshadow set (well a few actually ) as well.

It arrived today! I'm really pleased with it all! The foundation isn't red thank god - tried it out and it looks really natural but light which I'm pleased with and it's buildable depends on how you use the brush . The blusher is really nice, it's all hot a slightly luminescent quality but not ott.
