Christmas night out prep - help!

I've got a Christmas night out with friends the first weekend in December, everyone's getting glammed up and we're going into town.

I've not had a night out since before lockdown, I don't do well in busy venues and I've put about 3 stone on (now an 18-20) so I'm already a bag of nerves about it.

What can I realistically do in 7 weeks beauty/skincare and weight wise to make me feel more presentable?

Book a manicure for the morning and a hair appointment for the afternoon.

Cut sugar and eat low carb - weight loss guaranteed.

Thanks! I forgot about a manicure, not done anything with my nails in ages.

Omg I need to do something similar, something longer term for next year but I have become a bit of a mess recently due to a few just cluster fucks of life. I need to feel more myself again so this is what I'm doing:

  • new skincare routine, didn't rush out and buy loads of products but got The Ordinary Retinol and 30% AHA Peel. If you get one skincare product, get an acid exfoliator.
  • Low carb intermittent fasting. Losing 1 - 1.5 stone in 7 weeks is doable if you stick to it
  • Olaplex in salon treatment for hair and twice weekly pre wash oil mask followed by deep condition.
  • Get a salon appointment if you need one.
  • Couple of bits of new makeup - a flattering finish foundation, good mascara and good lip colour
  • Clip in hair extensions if they suit you make me feel much more glamorous
  • New flattering outfit
  • Eyelash individual extensions and eyebrow thread max 1 week before, min 2 days before
  • Fancy bubble bath and hydrating face mask/ glam glow type mask the day of
