How can I sort out my feet?

MelKarnofskyCrane · 18/10/2021 02:00

After years of abuse, they are like hooves. Recently saw an acquaintance at the swimming pool and was jealous of her pretty little feet.

Heels are rock solid and cracked.

Any recommendations as to how to make them pretty??

Assuming at the outset that you have no medical issues, I'd start by getting a medical pedicure so that they can cut away the worst of the dead skin.

For maintenance/ diy, if you can run to it financially, a Diamancel file is a brilliant investment and has a lifetime guarantee. Once you have the worst off, use a pair of Footner socks, but soak your feet for about an hour before you use them. There are lots of threads about these if you search - the results are spectacular!

Then, a couple of weeks later, start using a good foot and heel cream with urea.

I'll post links in a minute.

Footner socks

Once you have done the above I swear by CCS foot cream. I use it every day as am prone to hard skin and it just keeps it under control. Not expensive but miraculous with determined sustained use!

I buy home bargains version of footner for 89p and think is amazing. Soaking feet first and also wearing a pear of socks over the boots works a treat!

I regularly do my heels with a Schol file.
Constant maintenance is the key.

Microplane foot file and Flexitol . No other file is as good , trust me, I’ve tried everything over the years and it is the best .

The exfoliating socks are amazing.
Soak for an hour then leave for 7 days and they start to peel- make sure you don't need to get your feet out for the next week as they will look like a shedding snake!
Soak in water for even more peeling.
It looks disgusting but amazing results!

Beauty Formulas hard skin cream, Savers, 89p. I get ridiculous hard skin and it gets rid of it so quickly

Start by seeing a Chiropodist to quickly get your feet in shape, then use Flexitol Heel Balm every night (just a little). Flexitol is amazing.
