Powder compact recommendations!

So my long suffering Bobbi brown pressed powder has finally smashed and I need to buy something new to set my face and provide touch ups during the day.

I'm not sure what to get... I need it to mattify and I don't want any glow at all from it, I use something else for that, I don't want a shiny chin. I have acne so I don't want it to be making that worse... It must be a compact and ideally come with some kind of poof.

Should I get a pressed powder and if so go for translucent or a bit of colour (current one is very pale and I can't recall if that was just a bad shade match or deliberately translucent)? Or should I get a powder foundation? (I used to use a Bobbi brown powder foundation for this purpose but the shades have gone weird).

Any recommendations for failsafe buys please!

Max factor facefinity compact is really good, I've used it for about 20 years now 😬
The only downside is no refills, I dread to think how many plastic cases with mirrors I've thrown away over the years!

Beauty Pie One Powder Wonder - it's a lovely soft focus one colour miracle! I hadn't used powder for years until I bought this. I also use the medium deep as a bronzing powder, it's so flattering.

Thanks all, I'll check all these out! With the beauty pie one, do you have the translucent shade or the general light coloured matte one?

I've just checked underneath the compact and it says 'Uberlucent Universal', hope that helps.

I get theno7 one used it for years really good. The translucent one is goodbut they do shades too.

Second vote for max factor but I use the creme puff. Very Matt. Excellent coverage

Bye bye pores by It cosmetics is fab. It actually seems to improve my skin too. I think there’s collagen in it.
