Mixing gold and silver jewellery

Do you tend to stick to just gold or just silver rings or do you/would you wear a mixture of both at the same time?

I don’t have a lot of smarter jewellery but what I do have tends to be gold. I have seen a silver ring I really like and can afford, but someone reminded me my wedding and engagement rings are gold.

I know I can do what I like, I just wondered if it would look odd.

I really enjoy wearing both at the same time, and layering pieces like rings and necklaces. Buy the ring!!

It's very "in" at the moment to mix metals.

You could always wear the silver ring on your right hand.....

Yes I love mixing metals because I think we should wear our jewellery as often as we like and not be restricted. I've got loads of things that would just stay in their box otherwise.

One on each hand as a PP suggested is a good option to dip your toe in.

I saw a lovely gold pendant on a silver chain and want to recreate that with some of my own pieces.

I'm quite clean cut and traditional in lots of ways it's probably my only thing where I break the "rules"

I mix all my jewellery . I even throw a bit of rose gold into the mix .

I have a mixed watch and ring so I feel I can wear both as they sort of bring the whole thing together IYKWIM?

I mix gold and silver, always have done. I really don't understand the dislike some people have for doing so.

I wear a 9k gold bangle and silver bangle together on the same wrist, I like how they contrast. I like gold but as I'm cool toned I find wearing silver with it looks better, I want a rose gold bangle to complete the look.
