Jeans...again

I can never find jeans that fit properly. I am an apple shape. and if something fits nicely on the leg, it will be too painful to wear round the tummy. I have a non-existent bum, and average sized legs. I have some jeggings that are very comfy round the tummy...they are pull-ons, but the bottom sags, and they are baggy on the thighs. Because the legs are slimmish, rather than close-fitting, they make my top half look even bigger. All very depressing.

However, I recently bought some Seasalt Waterdance jeans in the sale for £22.50. They are the maternity ones, supposedly tapered but more straight in the leg. The bump band folds down and they are immensly comfy, but is wearing maternity jeans when not pregnant a bit...well, sad?

I think as long as the band is covered and they look good, who cares? Would certainly be handy if you go out for a big meal!

I carried on wearing maternity jeans for months after my dc were born, they were so comfy especially around my c section scar. If whatever you are wearing on top covers the elastic bump bit it doesn't matter at all, if they are comfy and you like them go for it.

Who’s going to know? If you like them and they look nice, all good!
