Luxury loveeeely warm winter slippers

Schhhteeevie · 17/10/2021 13:17

I have a pair of sheepskin slippers that are now deceased (cry)

I want to invest in some good slippers, they need to be very warm, very comfy/feel lovely and be good quality so they don’t fall to bits

What’s the best pair of slippers you’ve ever found?

Budget up to around £120

Emu are decent. I think I bought my last ones on Amazon. TK Maxx have some in now and then too, I’ve like beach feet in the past. The best value ones are from Aldi, they bring them out every Christmas and they are only about £15 for real sheepskin. I buy some every year as gifts for various relatives but find mine last much longer than a year so I don’t buy them for the same person every year if that makes sense. Not very designer but just as good as the expensive ones.

Ugg 🥰

WowIlikereallyhateyou · 17/10/2021 13:23

Ugg scufette, the best money you will spend. Mine are still going strong 2+ yrs down the line. They are brilliant.

quirkychick · 17/10/2021 13:23

Celtic & Co, both dp and I wear them and they last years. I think I paid about £60 a few years ago, it might depend on style.

I just got some emu boots from QVC. Got them on 3x easy pay too.

I also have some Ugg moccasin ones but they’re too pretty to wear all the time. They have pink glitter.

MaverickDanger · 17/10/2021 13:27

UGG or Celtic & Co

Schhhteeevie · 17/10/2021 13:28

I have some egos mules and they have been brilliant held their shape wonderfully can recommend the mules at least, I will probably try the boots next - example website www.thenaturalslippershop.co.uk/collections/felted-wool-slippers

Hubcapdiamondstarhalo · 17/10/2021 13:30

These ones. Full coverage against draughty ankles. I've tried others but keep coming back to these. They come in a few colours.

Schhhteeevie · 17/10/2021 13:31

@Hubcapdiamondstarhalo I have drafty ankles right now!

My Ugg moccasin slippers cost £50 on Brandalley and have lasted 4 years so far. I've machine washed then at 20 degrees to freshen them up and they're even fluffier now. Excellent cost per wear.

FrazzledY9Parent · 17/10/2021 13:53

Celtic and Co.- so warm and comfortable and you can put them in the washing machine and they come out like new. Mine are on their fourth year. Love them.

Firesidefox · 17/10/2021 16:31

Ugg Ascot

Vicliz24 · 17/10/2021 17:10

I wear my old Ugg's as slippers when it's really cold but until then I have Halflinger felted wool mules . Had mine 9 years and still loads of life in them .

StCharlotte · 17/10/2021 18:11

I have these Uggs (requested last year for my birthday when I was wfh). They're boots rather than slippers so I can wear them outside as well.

So comfy and snuggly.
