Tights when tall

I want some new thicker tights to wear with dresses . I struggle to find some that fit and are not just black (I hate black as a colour)

I have had some success with white stuff but their selection is limited and I'd like a wider range.

Any suggestions?

M and S... get a size up.. lots of colours...

I buy ex-large tights from M&S, they have a selection of colours and they fit fine (I am 5ft 9inches, long legs, size 10/12), so they may be worth a look.

Another vote for M&S.

Snag are amazing for every height and size.

Snag 100%. Comfortable, wash well and are very stretchy. Much better than M&S which I used to use.

Snag. I'm 34" leg and a size 22. Only ones that fit and they last forever.

Primark and a size bigger work for me.

I've tried sizing up in M&S, Primark etc, still had issues with the gusset ending up around my knees. Tried snag and I would never buy from anywhere else! No runs or holes and the fit is brilliant.

Snag are amazing. They have a range of sizes for people of different heights and sizes. Great quality and very reasonably priced. I have several pairs of theirs!

Ooh this is exciting - I’ve bought some snag - the ones that are like suspenders but without the faff - hoping it will fix both slouching of the ankle and sagging of gusset.

Snag. I'd forgotten how awful other tights are until this week when I wore I pair I bought in Marks. Dreadful, was pulling them up all day. I'm 5'8 and anything but Snag are too short on me.

I like Snag tights especially the merino wool ones in burgundy. They go with a surprising amount of outfits.

I'm 5'11 and buy M&S XL tights. Love them, no issues with falling down.

Awaiting snag delivery tomorrow OP will report back, v short friend recommended them and I ordered them few days ago.

I size up in M&S. I've also found the odd bargain fancy tights brands in TK Maxx like Wolford and Falke in interesting colours and longer leg length.
I'm tempted to try Snag after seeing so many glowing reviews on here.

Yet another vote for snag

I am a 10-12 with a 33 inside leg and big/ long feet which take up extra length.I have just bought some thick chocolate brown tights from Seasalt which are the most comfortable I've ever had.

Size 12, 36” legs, I wear Large M&S

Interesting how many says Mand S as I loathe their fit and find they sag so quickly.

Also my local shop has a poor selection despite it being a big shop.
