Fashion Tape - knee high boots

I have these lovely knee high boots that I wear with tights. They have a tendency to slouch around my ankles and I was wondering if anyone's tried fashion tape for this purpose? So the tape wouldn't be against my skin, it would be between tights and inside of boots.

I've never tried tape but have found knee high socks that are slightly worn over tights can do the trick.

Or you could wear the socks under your tights - this helps the toes of your tights not wear through as well.

I suspect attaching the tape against your tights and boots would just drag the tights down your legs as you walked...

I'd imagine that the boots would still slouch and then the gusset of your tights would spend all day heading towards your knees with the counterpoint of you trying to discreetly hoist your tights up without putting holes in them or hauling up your hemline!

This has Wardrobe Malfunction written all over it. In capital letters.

I do that with bare legs but suspect it will pull your tights down. Thick socks will help.
