Which jeans to replace Gap girlfriend jeans?

I love my Gap girlfriend jeans, they work for me, but are now falling apart.
They are never back in stock in Gap.
I am overwhelmed with all the options out there and can't find what I want!
I turn them up at the bottom and wear them with trainers or DMs. I like a slightly relaxed leg fit, but not too baggy.
Any suggestions?

@PeriConfused watching this as I love them too but my original pair are now too big. What size are you looking for?

PeriConfused · 16/10/2021 08:01

My current ones are 6/28 @OhCobblers

@PeriConfused mine are W30 so too big for you otherwise you could have had them!

@OhCobblers thank you for asking! Congratulations on your weight loss.

Have you looked on eBay, Depop, Vinted etc? There are usually plenty of second hand Gap jeans to be had.

i'm loving my M&S boyfriend jeans. i style them in the way you describe, and i size down as they are a bit massive in the waist (which i know is kind of the point, but still). to me they have a bit of that 501's vibe going on. might be a bit wider in the leg than you're looking for, but could be worth a look?

M&S have upped their game although you still have to wade through a sea of polyester crap

they've made them look pretty bad here, but these are the ones i have

I've recently had some Boden girlfriend jeans that I'm really pleased with. They come up quite big so you might want to size down.

I had the same problem and recently got some gap cigarette jeans and they are great. They are slightly less baggy and have a higher waist.

@Coronilla, I had a look on eBay with no joy, nor tried the others yet, thank you for the suggestion

@BernardBlackMissesLangCleg I will order those and give them a try. Not sure about the random fraying shown in the picture, but worth a try on recommendation, thank you

@stickybear, thanks, but I'm not keen on the exposed buttons on the front of those ones.

@Finchgold ... arghh out of stock in my size. Gap is sooo frustrating

I think it's just some of the colourways in the Boden ones that have the exposed button fly. Mine are light vintage (I think) and have a normal zip fly.
