Kimono Recommendations

I'd love a bold kimono style jacket/ over shirt type thing this winter.

Where to look?

I need it quite short and like bold intense prints.

Any ideas?

The original kimonos are so beautiful.
But they all seem to be long and have the hanging sleeves?

How would you wear or style those?

I would just look at the ‘Haori’ section of Wafuku/elsewhere. As @happysunr1se mentioned a haori is a short jacket that goes over the longer kimono and should require little to no alteration in terms of length.

If you do buy a haori make sure to do some research about the history and origins of the clothing you are wearing (as with any type of clothing from another culture).
