I like these navy Veja trainers

Just wondered if anyone had a pair like these & if they are comfortable? Is the sizing true or are they small made? Tia

I have these. Find them very comfortable and true to size.

Sorry I can’t get the link to work but I had to send two pairs of Vejas back. The tongue cut into my leg every time I walked. They were honestly so painful! I asked a friend how she was able to wear them and she showed me her scars from where they’d done the same to her.
But everyone is different and loads of people seem to wear them with no problems so worth giving them a try.

I bought Veja last year, they hurt like hell for about a month, like the poster above, and then they were ok. Not great, but ok. Fast forward 6 months and both laces snapped and they had a split in the side. Tried to contact their costumer service and got nowhere. I know now, after looking on here that their customer service is notoriously shocking. Anyway, went back to my trusty Vans, last for ages, half the price. I bought a pair of white leather with a pale pink suede logo that look exactly like Vejas.

Link doesn’t work for me either, but my Vejas are so bloody uncomfortable.

Bbub · 15/10/2021 10:25

My vejas are really comfortable and true to size. I've got v-12 B-mesh ones and they were comfy from day 1. It seems to depend on the style. I think the ones you linked look soft like mine so may be just as comfy.

raffegiraffe · 15/10/2021 12:29

I find mine really comfortable. I have wide feet and high instep

veneeroftheweek · 15/10/2021 12:45

I had some Vejas and they were so painful I had to call DP to come and collect me when I was out as I couldn't walk in them. They looked lovely though!

itsnotrugby · 15/10/2021 13:11

V12 and v10 are stiff and can hurt until you wear them in.
The ones OP posted about are the Sdu B Mesh though and these are really comfortable.

I notoriously find most shoes and trainers uncomfortable (dodgy feet) so was a bit worried trying veja. I got these in silver a few weeks ago and they are really comfortable. Don’t thread laces through the top hole and the tongue cutting in no longer a problem.

brusselsprout5 · 15/10/2021 18:21

Thanks all. I think the white ones look a bit plastic & uncomfortable. Are they all vegan? The navy ones I'm looking at could be softer. I've still not ordered them yet as would hate to pay this much & still not find them everyday comfy! I'll maybe go a city trip & try them on somewhere. I'm 40 & trying to be cool!

Really regret my vejas. The tongue cuts my foot and the bed is flat and not comfy.

I have Adidas sleek in black so might just get them in white, but I did want a change.

PurpleDaisies · 18/10/2021 20:28

Vejas don’t suit my feet at all. I had a pair and gave them away they were that bad.

RainCloude · 18/10/2021 20:31

My vejas are the most comfortable footwear I own! I can't remember exactly how long they took to break in though.

Ive had this experience with golden goose. Awful isn’t it?
AcheyMiddle · 18/10/2021 22:15

I don't have those exact ones but my vejas are categorically THE most uncomfortable trainers I've ever bought. They are rarely worn as I look at them with dread. Just glad I didn't pay full price. Extremely flat, no cushioning at all, like walking on concrete, and the tongue is wonky and hard.

Dancingonmoonlight · 19/10/2021 00:18

I've bought two pairs and returned both.
The tongue on one was really strange - too long and it rubbed off my leg.
I replaced the above with a pair of cream ones but they were a cream colour with suede material. Lovely for a summer in Spain but in our wet climate, they'd look dirty and shabby in days!
