Canvassing opinion on these trainers

Have ordered these, but now I'm not quite sure. Would any of you mind giving me your opinion on them?
I like that they are leather, that the rubber sole comes up quite high and so they might not get so scuffed and I think they will go with lots of clothes.
But I'm 47 and a bit a big bit chunky and I'm wondering if they are too young for me. I don't want to look like I'm trying to be a teenager.
They are quite blingy, which again I like and I don't think it's too 'in your face' when on but I'm not sure

If you like them , wear them . Personally I don’t like the jewels as it reminds me of those stuck on gems for crocs ..

Hadn't thought of that. On the bright side I got them half price but I'm not sure if that's influencing me a bit too much

I also dislike the stuck on jewels ans think it looks quite childish/tacky . But if you like bling then you’re the one wearing them

They look like children's shoes. To me.

Kurt Geiger shoes almost always end up reduced as they're so overpriced.

They're a strange combination of child and senior!

I'm not personally big on the jewels, but that's a preference thing not an age thing. Other than that they're just chunky leather skate shoes and generally inoffensively cool. If you like the jewels, go to.

Haven't seen the vans. I'll take a look. I think I'm going to send them back. Even at half price, they are still expensive if I'm not 100%

I did look at those, but they are more money for synthetic uppers. I got mine for £75 (they were the last pair left).

Post a pic once they arrive so we can see the jewels in real life. I'm not bling, but they look nice and not synthetic crap. One be of your pros for them was the bling,

They arrived already but I've just sealed them up to return. The only person at home who lined them was 14 year old DD. DS said I was 'robbed' paying £75 for them and DH and DS gf said things like 'Do you like them?', which is clearly code for 'not Kern but trying not to hurt your feelings'

TBF the quality was really nice.
