Each to their own style but it’d be a no for me.

PurpleDaisies · 12/10/2021 19:22

I’m not a fan.

DramaAlpaca · 12/10/2021 19:23

I don't like it, but if you do and will wear it go for it.

BikeRunSki · 12/10/2021 19:24

“Borg lined parka” sounds like it should be nice, but it’s not doing it for me. I think it’s the quilting.

Anordinarymum · 12/10/2021 19:24

It's not what you wear but how well you wear it !

Mrsjayy · 12/10/2021 19:24

I don't like the split at the bottom.

LawnFever · 12/10/2021 19:25

No I’m not a fan of the colour and it looks quite shapeless too

BrilloPaddy · 12/10/2021 19:26

I like the coat, just not the colour it's in.

CheeseMaiden · 12/10/2021 19:29

It would look better with a bit more structure- this one has inside out sleeping bag vibes

Suzi888 · 12/10/2021 19:31

It’s a sleeping bag. No likey.

RallySooney · 12/10/2021 19:31

I bought this online last week.
I returned it immediately.
I looked like I was wearing a sleeping bag. Really disappointed as it is, in theory, perfect for cold dog walks. If you're quite tall and slim it may look good on you.

The colour is also more green than bluey grey.

CheeseMaiden · 12/10/2021 19:31

Uniqlo have some similar quilted jackets and coats that look a bit more polished

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 12/10/2021 19:33

For me it's awful.

Animood · 12/10/2021 19:34

Bag lady.

lollylimejuice · 12/10/2021 19:35

It's a bit boring, winter is drab enough. Zara have some nice cream padded coats.

KimWexlersPonyTail · 12/10/2021 19:35

It looks drab and sort of floppy. Try Lands End for a padded coat

Glassofshloer · 12/10/2021 19:35

Ask Partridge

Glassofshloer · 12/10/2021 19:36

*Alan even!

Mamette · 12/10/2021 19:39

I’m seeing lots of these on the school run. Not that colour though. I see navy and safe green ones.

My thoughts are that it looks a bit thin for a coat that will be usable all winter. You might get a month out of it and then need to put it away until March.

Mamette · 12/10/2021 19:39

Sage green not safe green Confused

shrugshrug · 12/10/2021 19:40

It's called Dark Khaki and it's definitely not khaki in real life. It's like a dull duck egg blue.

shrugshrug · 12/10/2021 19:40

Actually more grey blue.

nellienolan · 12/10/2021 19:42

Sorry OP, I think it misses the mark.

321Backintheroom · 12/10/2021 19:49

I’ve just seen these in store , they are displayed in the sportswear section . I think they are being marketed as a dry-robe , a very poor quality and designed dry-robe .

cherrypiepie · 12/10/2021 19:51

Ooh lots of replies. Consensus then and I was totally on the fence!

I want a long quilted affair that is stylish and I was drawn to the Borg lining of this coat and will last a couple of years but I did have the football manager vibes to it.

I tried it a while ago and it was huge and were to size down twice agree not khaki more a pale duck egg.

Though it would have sold quickly I may buy it in the sale as I don't think it will shift.

Back to plan A which is a rab deep cover parka.

I'm short and fat not tall and willowy.

Any other recommendations for a long quilted coat in dark khaki?
