Lost my way, with what to wear!

I've had a few crappy months, not wanting to do much, anyway friends have invited me out for cocktails in Manchester then a meal.
Havn't a clue what to wear, havn't bought any 'autumn bits' after covid! I'll feel too cold in a summer dress etc, so wondering if this outfit looks ok, would wear black tights too and black leather jacket? Or failing this I have some 'leather look' trousers that I could wear, if I could maybe get suggestions for a top.

Skirt is ok , I'd wear it with a tight black polo neck and leather biker and black ankle boots .

It looks fine. If a bit shapeless all together. Do you have a satin camisole style blouse for the skirt instead? And the skirt would look better with heeled sandals. But if you prefer boots, I'd choose something a bit patent, more narrow toed with a heel.

Or with the trousers, a metallic silver/gold wrap blouse? Loads of options if you Google but a little sparkle will look nice on black. And boots.

@todaysdilemma thank you for the suggestions, I have been looking for a 'pleated' skirt, wanting to keep the animal print theme as having my nails done on Thursday and have seen lovely ones that would go animal theme!

Nooo don't wear the off the shoulder top with leather look trousers together unless you want to look like Sandy from grease!
