Mom jeans - how do you style yours?

Just bought a pair. They may be the most unflattering pair of trousers I have ever put on my backside. However, after about 12 years of skinnies, they are insanely comfortable, and seem to be a trendy style, so I'm keeping them!

Just curious about what you wear with yours and how you style them. I'm 41, size 10, and live in trainers. I like a slightly glam, but dressed down look, if that makes sense! So far I've been doing long sleeved tops and t shirts, tucked in at the front. Please share your ideas! Ta

Boxy fit slightly cropped jumpers and cardigans
Blazers
Deep V t-shirts with a french tuck
Trainers or DM boots on the bottom
Block healed mules if I want to look a bit fancier

Love Mom jeans!! I wear mine with white Converse high tops, slightly oversize round neck t shirts always tucked in. In winter I’ll wear a jumper or sweatshirt, French tucked. I’ll wear a trench or a vintage sort of 80s woollen coat (which falls just below waist height) I’ve also bought some white chunky New Balance which look quite good with Mom jeans. I’ll accessorise with gold necklaces/earrings, also sometimes a belt can look nice. A boxy cardigan can look good, Monki do some nice cotton ones.

How to avoid the arse looking gigantic in these jeans? I like them but that's a concern of mine especially as they need shorter cut / boxy top half!

With a pair of snaffle loafers for glam?

Gorgeous knitwear tucked in. I’m slim with a flat arse and straight waist. They aren’t the most flattering jeans but tucking in jumpers and cardis gives me a waist and better shape overall, I think.

I wore mine today with a slightly oversized black jumper, french tucked and black chunky ankle boots. Also works with trainers. I’ve worn the same pair ‘out’ with a slightly cropped milkmaid top and heels.

I think my mom jeans are shorter than the norm, there's still quite a gap from the boot to the jeans (I do like to up turn them though) so might try to find some longer ones.

@KiteflyingKat my figure is almost exactly the same as yours! Love the jumper.

Chanel style fabric jacket and trainers. Reasonably fitted tops and jackets to balance out the baggy bum.
Not quite sure how to work with boots yet.
