comfortable trainers?

Getitng a little bit fed up with all my uncomfortable trainers - got some Veja and Lacoste but both sets rub my feet. Can anyone recommend white/cream fashionable but comfortable trainers that are not too clunky? Ideally I would like to be able to wear them to work so nothing too sporty or big

Vans are always quite sleek but you do need to break them in, same as most shoes.

Air and grace are amazingly comfortable, though pricey, but I walk miles in mine and they're perfect

Thanks might check them out though I am not sure whether they are just too expensive to be honest

Do you need arch support? If you like at an old pair of shoes is the back more worn down on one side than the other. I do this on the outer edges and I need arch support so more stuctured trainers like ones with the New Balance side profile, not flat style which originated as skateboarding trainers as they are flat for standing on a board.

I bought some memory foam insoles to wear with my Vans and they are now the perfect shoe. Skate shoes are designed to have a sole you can feel the board through, so they can be uncomfortable in that sense, but they have great ankle support and padding to the actual shoe. Now I've put the insoles in my Vans are perfect.
