Ladies Wool or Cotton navy tights, Falke alternative

I wear skirts and dresses with tights in the winter, usually in navy blue. Sometimes grey or burgundy. Years ago M&S autograph used to do fine wool ones but stopped (only in a dark grey or black now). So I moved on to Falke cotton touch tights, they were about £16/17. Last year they went up to £22 and ive just googled and they are now a whopping £29 😬
I need size L or XL. I don’t mind snags for a night out but don’t want to be encased in nylon for 14 hours a day every day.
I want them to fit well, not like kids school tights that are thick and shapeless and go baggy at the ankle.
Anyone found anything good out there?

Snag do merino ones most winters, are they not out yet? They're lovely, 90% organic merino. I've got them in plum, black, and silver grey.

Thanks for the link. Still no navy though. No idea why navy blue is so hard to find.

I was also looking for wool tights so will check out the Snag ones. Are the merino type properly thick?

I’ve got good pairs from John Lewis. Cotton ones and I think my wool ones are from there too.
I’ve also got a great pair of Tommy Hilfiger cotton navy tights that I found in tkmaxx years ago. Still going strong! I’ve no idea if they still do them though.

Watching with interest - I too used to go for the M&S wool ones. Now wearing a dark red/burgundy pair from JL in merino wool. Was hoping Snag would have good colours but they’ve only got black, grey and red in wool.
