Lip Fillers (for 'smokers' lines)

Hi all,

I was just curious of people's experiences with lip filler. Especially if you had them done for 'smokers' lines above the lip. Did they help? Did your lips look natural.

I want to begin by saying that I have never in my life considered lip filler. In honesty (and no offence at all to anyone who has it done) I have never seen a natural looking result.

So 35 and has some fine lines appearing above my top lip. I also have terrible 'smokers' lines if I purse my lips and even when talking. I've never smoked.
I spoke with a dermatologist who does aesthetic treatments and one suggestion was lip filler as it'll stretch the skin and can help these lines.
I'm just wondering if anyone has had it done? I don't want big lips and am terrified of them sticking out. However I'm very conscious of the upper lip lines. I was hoping for filler directly into the lines but have been told they are too fine and filler would cause a bulge.
I've attached a picture of my lips as they are. You can't see the lines above my lips clearly in this pic but they are there. I also seem to have indents below my lower lip Which occur if I purse my lips and don't properly disappear!
