Most hairdressers say no. The only hairdresser who said she could do this when I asked recommended a Japanese perm which looked like that in the photo but didn't in real life, although maybe that was because I didn't learn to style it properly with the product she gave me. I was getting it done to avoid having to spend hours styling it though.
