Talk to me about Bravissimo clothing

I'm 38b hourglass, my shoulders are very broad, my waist is small and my hips are wide. I look at all their clothing and think it would be lovely to wear, I have struggled with fitted styles. However they are for women with a d cup so am I imagining they will fit because of my broad shoulders but the reality will be very different. Any thoughts?

Out of interest who has measured you as a 38b - it’s a very rare size.

Bravissimo clothing tends to have extra material over the boobs rather than all over.

It has been discontinued anyway, so you won't have much longer to get it anyway! On the upside, things are often on sale at the moment so you can try it out and see. I'm just barely a D cup but I do find some of it fits better than normal clothing, if I get the 'lowest' curve rating of my size. Worth trying to see how it is on you. Some of it hangs more like a tent on me, other things fit quite nicely. I haven't liked the fabrics on many things even though I liked the look online, so I've sent a lot back in the end.

I've measured myself...I think I did it right Confused. I'm 5 foot 6, my Dad is 6 foot 2 and my Mum is 5 foot 4 and small of chest, so I guess I ended somewhere in the middle. I have a swimmers physique basically.

Oh ok I think I will give a few things a try.

If you phone Bravissimo the assistants can give you advice on the sizing of individual garments.

The fit is generally very good for big chests and narrow waists, the fabric quality is hit or miss.

Did you use the boob or bust bra calculator when measuring?

cherrypiepie · 09/10/2021 12:47

Second using the boob or bust calculator. I waned 38c to a 34 F and the Diffeenc is startling.

I have had a few Bravissimo/Peppeberry clothes. I’m 34F, 5’8”. They have fitted fine around the bust, but are never long enough in the body. Waists sit too high, dresses are really a bit short. Might be ok for 5’6”.

I've had loads of Bravissimo clothes over the years as I do have a large bust in proportion to my frame, but the one thing I had problems with was the shoulders.

Anything not in a stretch fabric was way too tight around the shoulders and I couldn't move my arms. If you are correct about your bra size I would say that they probably would be a really bad shape on you, too much fabric around the chest and too tight across the shoulders.

What measuring guide did you use? Do it again using Boob or Bust if not that!
