Socks that don't fall down

I think I must have weird feet because nearly all my socks fall down and bunch under my heel. It's bad enough with trainers, and I thought maybe it's to do with those low-cut trainer socks, but now ordinary ankle socks are sliding under my feet!
I've just bought some DMs ( Pascal) which are lovely and look like they should be comfortable but they are rubbing because my sock is not covering the space between my heel and the boot.
What socks do I need? What socks will stay up without being really tight around the ankles?

I buy mine from the local chiropodist..I think they are for diabetics - they have a 'honeycomb' top which grips your leg but in a really soft, gentle hold doesn't leave a mark and never falls down. They are called gentle grip on axon and they are cheap too

I've got these, they fall down! I think it's because of the soft hold!
