Body wash and body cream with no scent

I am looking for a shower gel or body wash and body cream or lotion that does not smell of anything. My skin is getting a little dry with colder weather so preferably nothing too drying.
Many "fragrance-free" body skincare products still have a rather strong scent and most of them annoy me.
Most recently I bought Instituto Espanol Atopic Skin body lotion which was supposed to be unscented. Great texture but smells like tropical fruit, fortunately the smell is not strong.

Simple?

sanex do a shower gel and lotion for sensitive skin that is fragrance free.

Topbird29 · 08/10/2021 19:59

Not sure about lotion, but sanex pure shower gel is unecented. Used it after giving birth, and also when I had an attack of a hives like rash all over. Also used alveeno shower gel then, but that does have a scent to it.

Most of them contain scent to mask the smell of preservative. Oddly enough, if you see 'Parfum' on the ingredients list, this is actually a preservative called 'Naticide'. It smells of almonds but is not very pleasant. Consequently they have to add other scents to detract from the vile almond smell.

Aveeno?

RampantIvy · 08/10/2021 20:01

Soap instead of body wash. Better for your skin and better for the planet. There are loads of soaps suitable for dry skin. Or use Dove beauty bars.

OakleyStreetisnotinChelsea · 08/10/2021 20:02

Friendly soap company do a lovely fragrance free aloe vera soap.

Theunamedcat · 08/10/2021 20:06

Aqueous cream was originally designed as a soap (according to my sons dermatologist so it might not be true) either way you can wash with it like a soap and it doesn't have a smell

NelliesWellies · 08/10/2021 20:06

Beauty Kitchen do a fragrance free body wash and hand/body cream. I think it’s fragrance free in the sense that it doesn’t have anything added but it does smell faintly of the oils it has in it (sunflower, olive, vegetable) so it doesn’t smell of noting!

Sanex shower gel and neutrogena deep moisture hypoallergenic body lotion. I have really dry and sensitive eczema prone skin and they are my go to

itsutterlyshit · 08/10/2021 20:21

Sanex atopicare shower gel and cerave moisturiser.

LookdeepintotheParka · 08/10/2021 20:24

MooGoo milk wash has very little fragrance and is really gentle - can use on face too. Huge bottle plus you can buy refills. All my family use it!

Sakura7 · 08/10/2021 20:38

Sanex Zero, but make sure it's the pink one:

The others are scented.

Simple is a good option too.

Sakura7 · 08/10/2021 20:40

Also Dr Bronner and Faith in Nature do unscented soap.

itsevolutionbaby · 08/10/2021 21:00

Aveeno

IWouldLikeToKnow · 08/10/2021 21:03

La Roche posay and CereVa are scent free I would think. Both shower gels and lotions

TottiePlantagenet · 08/10/2021 21:10

I came on to recommend these two brands too.

I use a LRP body wash and various CeraVe body moisturisers (great for my dry skin) - there's no smell IMHO, and I'm quite sensitive to scents.

isthismylifenow · 09/10/2021 08:15

I use Sanex zero in the shower, but recently found Bioderma shower gel which has a slight fragrance, but my goodness I will stick with this as it is so hydrating. Then I used Avene body lotion, I use the one for keratosis prone skin and it leave me silky soft.

If I have a bath I use Dove unscented bar or aqueous soap bar. I get terrible thrush from scented soaps hence why I can get away with gel in the shower as it washes off, but in the bath it doesn't work that way.
