How do I fix my damaged petit bateau raincoat?

I’ve been wearing it with a cross body bag and now the coating is coming off. I think a waterproof spray may help any more damage but is there a way to repair the damaged parts?

I doubt it, and I say that as someone who'd repair most things.
I'd be tempted to upcycle it either by fashioning into a bag or something or by patching it with a contrasting fabric.

Or by getting a yellow permanent marker and colouring in the white bits

I'd contact the manufacturer and ask for advice. They might offer a repair service. It's something I've noticed a few outdoorsy brands do.
