Shampoo that doesn’t smell of fruit or flowers

I love the Aveda Shampure range but they are so expensive. Has anyone any suggestions for a similar product that is more affordable?

George Northwood unparched shampoo and conditioner smell like the Le Labo Santal perfume, just a little less strong (which is a good thing for me!). I haven’t tried the other lines (undirty and undamaged) though. They are sold at boots and at their own brand/salon website.

Kerastase? Lovely salony smell, and you can get it cheaper than salon prices online. Not sure how the price compares to Aveda though.

Vosene

Tresemme has a nice clean smell which isn’t floral or fruity.

I was going to make a crack about vosene, too!

It's actually calmed down my perpetually nasty scalp and improved the condition of my hair, though probably not what OP is after!

Kerastase smells fabulous - I've even got a candle of the same scent that I was given in the salon
