Which Olpalex?

I wonder if people might be able to advise me on which number Olpalex might be best for me to try? I have quite thick, naturally wavy and quite coarse hair that has a tendency to frizz and look quite dry. I've heard really good things about Olpalex so decided it could be worth a try but then got thoroughly confused by all the different numbers. With hair like mine, could anyone suggest which one might be best? Thanks!

I've brought olaplex after having to have a short cut from bleach damage.
I use 0 and then 3 on hairdressers advice and I'm sorry to say it hasn't helped mine ... I've since tried the K Pak series from Joico and literally has made my hair completely different ! It is now soft and easy to brush through , it's honestly been so much better for my hair than olaplex

1&2 are for salon use. The rest you can buy for home use.

@Foxlover46 which joico product is that? (Please & thanks) Smile

I bought them all from 0 to whatever the oil is, there's now something after that though which I haven't tried. IMO 0 is super faffy and I hated it so much for that. As an alternative you just dampen you hair, as you would with Philip Kingsley Elasticizer (which is good to use alternately with olaplex btw, but good products targeting different things). I LOVE the shampoo 4 and conditioner 5, the leave in stuff 6 I find weirdly unhelpful. I like the oil but it's not made a massive difference.

I bought the trial kit but wouldn't bother again

It's shampoo , conditioner, heat protector and bond repair

None of them made any difference to my dry course thick highlighted mop

@Kathy2020 the K Pak Reconstructor range is the one , I use the shampoo , the deep
Treatment and the leave in treatment and it's honestly
The only thing that's made any difference

Which Olpalex?
Foxlover46 · 09/10/2021 23:45

@Kathy2020 I had tried olaplex and the Philip
Kingsley elasticizer and
They made no difference to mine
And that's after the hairdresser cutting it too so didn't expect
Much from this but I will
Definitely keep
On using this brand x I got it from look fantastic but I know cult beauty do it and a lot of
Salons too 😊

@Hereslookingatyoukid

Does anyone have any recommendations as to where to buy it? I've just been looking on Amazon but there's lots of reviewers suggesting it isn't the real thing. It doesn't need to be online although that always makes things a bit easier! Thanks!
Amazon is fine - the reviews are overwhelmingly positive with just a few outliers saying IT’S FAKE

Macadamia Professional Deep Repair Masque is bloody awesome
