What Do I Wear???

Since Covid and my now total disinterest in shopping I have nothing to wear to a fundraiser on Friday night. I was 40 in April and have always favoured dresses, skirts and t shirts, jumpsuits for night a out or events. I was never one for jeans and a nice top. Now all I can see in shops are jeans, shackets, high neck dresses and hugh puffer coats. None of these styles suit me and definately not for a night out. I'm a size 12 to 14 ,36gg bust and 5ft 4. I'm carrying a bit of weight around my stomach due to problems with the mirena coil so this has me feeling down too. I would usually be a nice solid/curvy size 12 with flat stomach. I just feel totally overwhelmed when I go shopping now so I'm literally living in work out leggings and hoodies. Please help.

What’s the dress code? I’m not picking up black tie, just “night out”
I’ve posted this before but I’m a fan of the NFD Jasper skirt (or one of the many copies) for covering the tummy. Size up and use their video advice for creating more ruffle/asymmetry too. Wear it with a very simple top and block healed mules for a night out.

Yes it's not black tie, just a fundraiser for our friend who passed away. I will have a look thank you.

I’m sorry for your loss

@Chocolatecoatedkettlebell, thank you. Just had a look, love the skirt and all the other prints it comes in. Totally my style.

@Daisyxo, thank you. Yes I've always had a big bust but can be really hard to get anything to fit properly. Dresses will fit my waist and hips but not my bust. I know I should be grateful though x
