A friend of a friend has not one line on her nearly 50year old face (history of sunbathing). She denies botox etc. Apart from diet and no sun, what 3 creams (magic potions) could make a difference to my face please?

You need to watch Doctorly, two dermatologists on youtube they talk about great skincare that you can get at high street prices, they give great advice, The top three are , spf, retinol, and vitamin C,

I agree with lindyloo57 and I would add an acid toner. However, all creams and toners are preventative. Nothing, except botox, fillers, acid peels or facelifts with smooth out existing wrinkles.

Thank you and have you any advice on what sequence to put these in with please?

I also use a acid toner 3 times a week not same night as retinol, hope this helps, there is plenty of advice on youtube.

Never heard of this channel. Thanks for sharing 👍

Aren't they great, not like some on YouTube who recommend spending lots of cash, good honest advice.

Maraki · 07/10/2021 20:46

What lindyloo57 said.

Am: splash with water, vitamin c serum, moisturiser, spf50

Pm cleanse even if you don’t wear makeup, either acid toner or retinol, night cream

Liquid gold is in my opinion the best acid toner. Or Nip and Fab glycolic pads extra strength. Don’t spend too much on moisturisers or night creams, just get something that feels comfortable on your skin. Spend your money in retinol and vit c.

lindyloo57 · 07/10/2021 21:25

I use liquid gold

Thank you for the advice. Watched the Dr, very good also. I am now using vitamin c. Nip an fab. And spf with retinol at night. Not sure if psychological but I have noticed some improvement!
