Where can I buy nice French knickers ?

I have a friend due to have hip replacement soon .I thought some lovely french knickers would be easy ( and consoling ) to use following the op when there is swelling.

But I can't find any that might be suitable ,even taking PJ shorts into account .

Any ideas ?

I should perhaps add that friend is probably a size 18/20 .

im not sure you can really get them easily now and I expect most people want to choose their own knickers, especially post surgery as french knickers I think are wedgie central.

These might not be too bad as the cotton would still have the stretch of normal knickers.

I have a few pairs in the M&S Rosie(?) collection; love them, you don’t know you have them on. You may have a problem with the size you are after and l’m afraid they start at around £25. Mine were reduced in a sale.

They are lovely with skirts and loose dresses, but no practical with trousers.

Bit of a strange gift unless you are very close friends!

peridito · 05/10/2021 10:12

yes ,I take your point Dog ( bit of a strange name ) .

TBH I was veering more towards sending her a suitable link . Though we are good ,long term friends for half a century and at our age tend to be quite pragmatic

Branleuse ,thank you .

Starlightlady hope you weren't disappointed at the very unexciting reason for my search Smile.Seriously ...those Rosie ones look lovely but I think a slightly higher waist might suit better .Confusing though because the M&S pic of the floral ones on a model do look as though they sit on the waist .

I have a feeling I should have posted in "Health" ,not Style and Beauty Blush
