Winter coat - Didrikson?

I am looking for a new winter coat.

Waterproof
Warm (ish) - UK doesn't often get very cold and I am often too hot
Windproof
NO down/fur/animal cruelty

I was looking at Didrikson website - couldn't quite work out if the warm would suffice?

Prices are more than I would usually spend on a winter coat but if it does the job then I wold hope I'd get a few years use out of it.

Any advice please :)

I bought a didriksons coat last year and it was great - I bought it on Sportamore where they have great discounts on didriksons - as do Hollands Country Clothing. They dont always have the exact one as on the dreiksons site but the differences are very slight - maybe last years model with a different name.

Are the hoods good (ie well designed so they actually keep rain off your face)?

My Protected Species coat is at the end of its life, and my first thought was to get another as it has the best hood ever, but they’re sold out so now I need an alternative.

I bought the Didrikson Luna parka last year - best coat investment! It kept me warm and dry and the hood is great to keep rain off your face. I have many coats, this is the warmest and best made - there is such a difference from your bog standard winter down coat. Just wish I could buy a new one each winter 😂

I love didriksons as I’m tall (6ft). If you’re on the short side, would they drown you?

Have you looked at Twothirds? I have one of their coats, it's very well made.

I got one last year and LOVE it. Completely brilliant.
