Recommend me a starter retinol

I am 37 and starting to get a few fine lines. Ive recently started using the Boots Ingredients range of retinol. I don't know the strength of it as its not listed anywhere, but even the minute amount in it has made a real difference to my skin.

Id like to upgrade now to something a bit stronger but I have no idea where to start.

I use Vitamin C serum in the morning and the retinol in the evening, alongside a garnier rose cleanser, toner and moisturiser.
Please can anyone advise on good products to add in for preventing wrinkles? Anything from Boots a bonus as I have a lot of points to spend.

Thank you in advance.

Interested and watching for answers too! I’m slightly older at 45, and need to start doing more. My current nivea q10 eye cream and soft touch moisturiser doesn’t feel enough now.

The L'Occitane Immortelle range is supposed to be a natural alternative to retinol. I currently use the overnight reset serum & it is lovely. Gives my skin that glow of a good night's sleep. Awaiting delivery of the Devine cream. It sounds amazing so looking forward to it.
Worth having a look.
qvcuk.com have some sets on offer at the moment. You can buy a sample/travel size set first to see if you like it before spending out on the full size.
www.allbeauty.com sell many of the L'Occitane products.

I like Olay retinol 24. I cleanse, apply it then use night cream.

I quite like the Avon one, and find it better than a more expensive brand I have.

I've just started using Paula's Choice 1%. It's got other ingredients in it that make it less irritating to the skin. They recommend you build up slowly so I've only used it 2 evenings this week, and my skin has not reacted. I started off on The No7 one which did make a tiny improvement so I'm hoping something stronger will make a bigger difference.

I've just started using Liz Earle Alt-Retinol booster drops in with my moisturiser. Noticed a definite reduction in fine lines and it's less irritating to sensitive skin than retinol!

I'd also recommend Alpha H power peel which I also use twice a week and this has made a really visible difference in plumping and texture of my skin.

I use The Inkey List retinol, the face and the eye cream.

If you're using retinol and vitamin c please make sure you use spf 50 religiously, or you'll be undoing all your work (and potentially doing more damage)!

I’d also recommend Paula’s Choice.

Came on to say La Roche Posay too. It’s very low dose so a good one to start with. It’s pricey but it comes up on offer on Look Fantastic quite often.
