Following a health scare, I’ve lost 4 stone over last over last 6 months. Height 5’6” weight 11stone, size 12ish, age 59. Fairly happy with body but room for improvement. Go to gym 4 times a week.
I didn’t give much attention to myself whilst overweight, but have recently gone overboard buying new clothes, shoes etc. I’ve replaced everything. My style is quite casual, I’ve got a lot of Hush, Baukjen, Whistles, bit of Ted Baker.
Now I’ve got all these lovely clothes I feel like I want to up my hair and makeup. At the moment not wearing any makeup. I would love a simple routine that looks natural but polished. Ive got fair skin with pink undertones, it’s clear though, and apparently I look young for age!
Hair is stressing me out at moment. Fine shoulder length, highlighted blonde. Natural colour is mouse, but don’t have much grey. I seem to be shedding loads of hair at the moment, maybe it’s normal shedding due to weight loss, I don’t know. I’ve started taking vitamins anyway…. I usually straighten my hair but shedding is alarming me, so have been following the curly girl method as my natural hair is wavy and thought this might might help. Thinking about getting it cut into a wavy bob, but am rubbish at styling and when I’ve looked a videos there seems to be a lot of curling wands involved to get a nice finish
