Large stylish rucksack

Fargoer · 01/10/2021 18:02

Hi
I need a new rucksack for work. I currently have the 17" kanken laptop edition which is sometimes not quite big enough for lunch, laptop, diary, notebook, water bottle, drinks flask and gym gear.
I would like something stylish and if possible waterproof.
Budget up to £150
Any ideas?
Thanks

I carry pretty much the same as you for work and have a Roka bag which I love! There are lots of different styles and colours but they're big with room to expand if you need, and are waterproof. I have the Canfield C in medium.

Knomo

Yep a large roka bag here too. Love it

Thank you all!
@TheCategoryIs thanks for pointing out that thread- unfortunately, the ones on that thread were all not big enough (the OP's needs are a bit less than mine I think) or ones I know about and decided against.
I have seen Roka, they look nice and also light but are they waterproof?
I don't think knomo are big enough.
I have found luluemon or a fjallraven options also which may work...

Yes, Roka are waterproof. Some of the designs have an additional flap that folds over the zip too.

Fargoer · 02/10/2021 21:16

Thanks very much.

Having looked at Roka, the largest appears to be the bantry B large... the size is only marginally larger than the kanken so I'm not so sure it will be different enough (plus the laptop compartment is not extra to the main compartment as with the kanken. But maybe I can order to take a look and try out alongside the lulu and fjallraven.

Also. The straps being totally unpadded- is that uncomfortable?
Thanks!

I find the straps comfortable enough as they're quite broad. With the Canfield bag, the bit that folds over the zip can be unfolded to give it extra space which is what I tend to do.
