Moshulu boots - will they stretch?

I've just bought some size 39 Moshulu Hatter boots. I really like them, but they are a little snug across the width. They are lined with something furry, which might be why, but they are made of leather so I was wondering if they would stretch.

It's annoying because 39 claims to be size 6, which I usually am (but i'm a size 38 in Birkenstock). Can anyone advise if I should risk keeping them or if they'll never be completely comfortable?

I’ve never had these particular shoes so I’m not speaking from experience…. In theory they should stretch a little. However if they’re expensive I’d be tempted to return and try the bigger ones.

Just googled them… omg I want the purple ones!
