Jacket for a teen boy

What jackets are your teen boys wearing that’s warm and waterproof?

Last year DS just had a puffer style jacket from next. Was warm enough but not waterproof and hardly worn due to lockdown. Too small now.

SuperDry is a no and North Face is too expensive. Looking for ideas.

Karrimor or Gelert are lower cost brands similar to North Face - as in, outdoorsy outerwear. Can usually be bought at Sports Direct and the like.

Does he want a branded item? I know a lot of teens like that

Thanks. Will look at those. Not necessarily a branded item but I suppose not a bog standard ski jacket from blacks or Tiso at the local outlets.

Berghaus thinnish puffer jacket.

Have a look at Dare2b. Properly waterproof, look nice but not so expensive that it would be a disaster if he lost it somewhere. My DS likes them.

I let my DS (15) loose in TK Maxx and he bagged himself a Zara puffa jacket and a Colombia fleece (full zip). Both black. He was very pleased with himself

All the teens here have black north face jackets.

I get DS them 2nd hand off eBay- max £30!
