A nice face oil for an oldie.

Over 50, peri-meno, skin not too bad but could do with some tlc. Bought some Clarins face oil, blue something or other, cannot stand the smell.
Any good recommendations would be most welcome.

Neals yard frankincense oil. Amazing for 50+ skin. Natural so good for sensitive skin. Have used it for years.

Garden of wisdom prickly pear oil. If it's good enough for Nigella. It's good enough for me, and it's £20!

Darphin camomile.
Also love midnight recovery and the murad oil

Basic jojoba is very good but if you are looking for a a bit more luxury, I've used Dr Hauschka oils, they are really nice.

Clarins do the yellow one as well as the blue - IIRC the yellow one is nicest

Bit older than you, OP > I use Bio-Oil. It's not designed for this, but I've been using it for a few years on my face and I have next to no wrinkles for someone of my age. Maybe I'm lucky (wrinkle-wise), or maybe the oil is working for me. No idea, but I no longer use dedicated facial moisturisers.

I use organic coconut oil, it has worked wonders and cost under a tenner.

I have some face oils from Kyushi. I love all of them - the power of ten one doesn’t smell great but the others are lovely.

I use Clarins' double serum. It smells lovely and I swear by it - been using it for years!

Me too. If my skin is very dry I use an oil on top. Like the OP, I'm using up the Clarins Blue Orchid but the cheap biker smell is very off-putting. I'm a perfumista and had no idea Orchid (blue or otherwise) had a patchouli honk to it.

I’m 51 and use both Pixi overnight retinol and overnight glow serums - they work a treat

Discovery I made years ago - a few drops of pure sunflower oil massaged upwards on cleansed damp skin. My skin looks like I'm in my 20s and I'm frequently complimented on it. I'm 50 and post menopausal.

I love Nuxe and you can add a few drops to a moisturiser as well, but also been using a Korean oil (the bottle is upstairs will post name later) bought a lot of it in Asia, then found it in TKmaxx in the sale......at a silly price.

I like Pixi rose oil blend.

Simpe protect and glow - no smell and it's also a Factor 50 sunscreen. Allowed me to go without moisturiser - I have normal (but old) skin

I use the Neom body oil which can infact be used anywhere ( how it was originally marketed before the brand grew) . Been using for years, good size bottle and it lasts

55 here and a devoted facial oil fan. I’ve used quite a few of the suggestions above but I always come back to the Aromatherapy Associates oils as smelling the best and being nicest to use. I have very sensitive skin and these are perfection for me.
