New job - need new clothes (am old and not thin)

Wow I have got a job I was hoping to get. So exciting. But I need some new clothes. Been wfh mostly for 18 mo like many of us, and also I have put on weight, so my "work" clothes mostly don't fit.

Planning to lose a bit of weight but still need something to wear. What sort of thing works well on a late 50s, curvy (big boobs, big hips), size 14 woman?

New role is not in a place where you need to wear a suit - in fact the person who interviewed me was wearing jeans, but I can't wear jeans to work and need something vaguely smart.

Any ideas? I am thinking I could buy a jumpsuit, smart trousers, a couple of smart tops, maybe a dress (though I do have a few smart work dresses that would work.

All thoughts welcome. TIA

hmmm budget is medium I guess - would be happy to spend about £2-300 on say, trousers, jumpsuit, two tops.
