Having received a rare compliment about my hair I realised that I had used a sample of Aveda thickening tonic on it the day before. Of course I then bought the full sized version because I thought it must be the fancy stuff making my hair look thicker.
However, I'm not convinced that it has done any more than my cheapo gel I was using before, but I now have 100ml of the stuff to use. It cost more than 20x the price of the hair gel but I don't see 20x of the benefit yet.
What products, if any, have you found it worth paying considerably extra for?
