Good quality WARM pyjamas?

Hello!
This summer I overhauled my crappy pyjamas and invested in a few pairs of cotton/ linen pairs which should last years.
I now need some decent warm ones for winter. Willing to spend a bit but I'm not 'rich' so can't go too mad. Any recommendations that will last and keep me warm? I had some cashmere blend which instantly bobbled/ stretched and looked awful.
That fake fleecy stuff is sweaty and cheap looking. What should I be looking at ?
Thanks o wise ones!

I get mine from John Lewis 100% cotton. They get softer with washing, I’ve just ditched a 20 year old pair!

catfunk · 29/09/2021 10:38

Thanks @Beebumble2 are they warm though or are cotton more summer pyjamas ?

Hush do cotton flannel pjs that are really warm - they are too warm for me actually other than when it goes below freezing overnight.

Tangledtresses · 29/09/2021 11:19

Ha I was just looking for some myself!
Gap used to do lovely cotton flannel pj bottoms.. but not any more 🙄

I'll take a look at hush

Beebumble2 · 29/09/2021 11:48

Yes they’re brushed cotton. Natural fibres work with your body temp and don’t make you sweat.

cotton flannel..... good shout - off to search online

I second Hush - have always bought a pair of their flannel/brushed cotton ones that they release before Christmas for my sister (she gets cold easily). Fabulous prints and they wash so well.

Myusernameisnotmyusernameno · 29/09/2021 20:08

Chelsea peers are good and warm

Echinops · 29/09/2021 20:15

I just got a brushed cotton pair from muji for winter and I love them, they were in the sale too.

Uniqlo cotton flannel pyjamas. You have to like check patterns though:

I find brushed cotton, good quality, does the job, with good long sleeves - so I get a pair in a bigger size than I really am, and will spend up to £30 for them - so don't do Primark

I was interested in your ‘so’ here-can I ask why buying brushed cotton would mean you need to buy a size up?

British Boxers flannelette/brushed cotton ones are amazing. Years ago I used to buy them from Hush, and to be honest, given the amount of wearing and washing they got, they were still looking pretty good many years later.

ViciousChicken · 30/09/2021 19:17

Fat Face usually do nice warm brushed cotton ones.

AnnieSnap · 30/09/2021 19:25

I have been looking for some nice old fashioned ‘flannelette’ pyjamas to keep me warm too. I really like Cyberjammies generally, but they don’t have any warm ones.

LaVieEstBelle159 · 30/09/2021 21:48

Does anyone else struggle with pyjama bottoms in the length from waist to crotch? Fine for lounging in but they cut me in two to sleep in!! And I wouldn't say I'm long- bodied. M&S satin pair were the most recent to do this, it's so annoying.

I've bought men's pyjamas for extra room 😊

I wear track suit/fleecy bottoms if its really cold. I don't wear them out of the house BTW.

Goldenhedgehogs · 02/10/2021 18:39

Every year Lidl do brushed cotton mens plaid pj bottoms. They have pockets and I buy those. Very cheap and thick

Galvantula · 02/10/2021 18:41

I was given some gap 'lounge wear" ones which are really soft and cosy. Kind of in between t-shirt and sweatshirt weight.

They're my favourites 😄
