Coats for tall women

I need a new winter coat and when I try them on the sleeves are always too short. I currently have a 2 year old M&S one which has sleeves which are just long enough. I need something fairly warm, actually waterproof and smartish. The Seasalt ones are nice but although it says there are lots in the Tall section, when you click on them they are only available in Regular. I don't like Long Tall Sally and I can't really be doing with trawling the depths of the Next website. My favourite brands are Hobbs, Jigsaw, White Stuff and John Lewis. Any ideas? Thanks Smile

Try Lands End. They make fabulous winter coats for women and have some talls.

Click "more" on the size filter on the left side of the page to get the check box for tall.

Just go on Next online, click Tall and choose Coats as your filter.

I have a long black Didriksons coat that is toasty and properly waterproof. I’m 5’10” with long arms and legs and it fits a treat. It’s on sale here: www.cotswoldoutdoor.com/p/didriksons-womens-erika-parka-A4414501.html

I'm watching the replies with interest. I'm only 168cm (5'6) but must have orangutan long arms, because I've always had the same problem. Lovely coat otherwise, but they always come up short on the wrists!

I'm 5'10 and I find Seasalt and Boden fit me in regular sizing, although I am a bigger size. Might be worth a try since they have free returns.

In fact, I once ordered a maxi dress from Boden in 'tall' and it was too long!

Also Monsoon fit ok in my experience as well.

Great, thanks for all the recommendations. I shall have a good browse ready for payday.

Have a look at Cos too

I too have this problem. I bought a Hobbs Tilda coat (from EBay) and that is too short in the arms.
